they have a bay breeze going on and 93 in southern maryland. came bridge is 91. it's 94 in fredericksburg. 90 in frederick and martinsburg. winchester 92 and lurery and gaithersburg. when you factor in the humidity which is high in the bay you have mid to upper 90s on the heat index values. it feels like 90 here in washington. dew point upper 60s and mostly sunny skies. not much relief yet but a front is coming. you can see it to the west past chicago. the front will move to the east and this one means business, folks. warm through tonight and warm in the morning. the front not much in the way of rain with it. it comes through and may touch off showers to the west in the afternoon and sunday, low pressure starts to ride up the front. clouds and northeast flow. we could have some showers south and east by the afternoon. it is going to feel a lot more autumnal. let's talk about the tropics. coming in to nicaragua and heavy rain. the problem is that matthew will be going over land, slowing down. a lot of rainfall is expected across mexico and central america. look a

it is mid-60s in southern maryland. fredericksburg 63. locally a couple of spots in the 50s right now. crofton and columbia at a 9. reston is 57 manassas 61. the nice thing opposed to yesterday, today no fog to talk about. it is 86. the winds are light from the south southwest and the humidity is up 78% but not enough for fog to form. rain in the mid 'ole the country. big time showers and storms. we will watch as low pressure heads our way as we head to thursday night and friday. for us it will pass to the north. what that means is the bulk of the rain will pass to the north. in the short term, cold front up in pennsylvania. that's going to come through. we will watch that during the day. maybe a few clouds with it and a brisk wind out of the northwest and showers well up to the north. then as we head to thursday, here is the storm system pulling out. thursday morning flying to chicago could be storms to worry about. but that will give us a chance of wet weather as we get in to late thursday, thursday night in to the first part of friday.

through, clouds across maryland and more sunshine across the rest of the region. spotty showers around the first part of friday, very hit or miss and clear out nicely. here's a look at the weekend forecast, 81 saturday, sunday 83. we think saturday looks pretty perfect and sunday a little warmer but not a big departure from what we have been seeing. new track in for igor. i haven't had julia updated. igor is still a category 4 storm and that's the one we really need to watch because it's going to come so close to bermuda. watch with this new track it begins to take' pretty hard right turn but not -- a pretty hard right turn but not in time to spare bermuda, category 1 or 2 hurricane conditions sun. tomorrow will be a warm one with showers around late day and into the overnight hours. the clouds break up quickly on friday and it's full steam ahead for three pretty fantastic days in this five-day forecast followed closely by tomorrow and friday. >> love it. thank you. >>> car buying can be a bit more confusing these days, but now there's a new service to help buyers
